Transducer Phosphene

In 2019 the Kentucky Informed Consent Ultrasound Act was upheld by law, compelling women seeking abortions to be undergo an ultrasound, listen to a fetal heartbeat and hear her doctor describe 'the unborn child within her.' Transducer Phosphene is an installation of 100 monoprints along with a fictional character’s account of her encounter with a cruel (and not fictive) abortion law. Read Transducer Phosphene here.
